1. Booking and Reservations

• •All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Oceania.
• •A booking is only confirmed once you receive a confirmation email with your booking reference.
• •Bookings can be made through our website, phone, or WhatsApp.
• •Full payment or deposit (as specified) is required to confirm your booking.
• •Please provide accurate contact information to ensure we can reach you regarding your booking.

2. Pricing and Payment

• •All prices are quoted in Mauritian Rupees (MUR) and include applicable taxes.
• •Prices are subject to change without prior notice, but confirmed bookings will be honored at the quoted price.
• •Payment can be made via MCB Juice, bank transfer, or cash on arrival (subject to availability).
• •For group bookings or private charters, a deposit of 30% may be required at the time of booking.

3. Cancellation Policy

• •Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled trip: Full refund.
• •Cancellations made 24-48 hours before: 50% refund.
• •Cancellations made less than 24 hours before or no-shows: No refund.
• •Oceania reserves the right to cancel trips due to weather conditions or safety concerns, with a full refund or rescheduling offered.
• •In case of cancellation by Oceania, customers will be notified as soon as possible and offered alternative dates or a full refund.

4. Weather and Safety

• •Marine excursions are weather-dependent. Trips may be cancelled or modified due to adverse weather conditions.
• •The captain has final authority on all safety-related decisions during the trip.
• •Customers must follow all safety instructions provided by the crew.
• •Life jackets are provided and must be worn when instructed.
• •Swimming and snorkeling activities are at the participant's own risk.

5. Health and Fitness Requirements

• •Participants should be in reasonable physical health to participate in marine activities.
• •Pregnant women, individuals with heart conditions, or those with serious medical conditions should consult their doctor before booking.
• •Please inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or special requirements at the time of booking.
• •Motion sickness medication is recommended for those prone to seasickness.

6. Wildlife Encounters

• •Wildlife sightings (whales, dolphins, etc.) cannot be guaranteed as these are wild animals in their natural habitat.
• •Oceania follows responsible wildlife viewing guidelines and maintains appropriate distances from marine life.
• •Touching, feeding, or harassing marine animals is strictly prohibited.
• •In the rare event of no wildlife sightings, no refunds will be provided, but we may offer a discount on future trips at our discretion.

7. Photography and Media

• •Oceania may take photographs or videos during trips for promotional purposes.
• •By participating, you consent to being photographed and the use of such images in marketing materials.
• •If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform the crew before the trip.

8. Liability

• •Oceania carries public liability insurance for all trips.
• •Participants acknowledge that marine activities carry inherent risks.
• •Oceania is not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings.
• •Customers are responsible for their own travel insurance coverage.

9. Code of Conduct

• •Respectful behavior towards crew, other guests, and marine life is expected at all times.
• •Consumption of alcohol before or during the trip is discouraged for safety reasons.
• •Illegal substances are strictly prohibited.
• •Oceania reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a trip without refund for inappropriate behavior.
